ABOUT THE COVERAGE

Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty of the tender on fiberglass hull, deck, transom, interior rib stringer system and tube, discover all details below.

Novurania will provide for repairs to your tender during the specific warranty periods provided herein, in accordance with the following terms conditions and limitations.

Novurania warrants to the original purchaser of a properly registered Novurania inflatable boat that: (a) the fiberglass hull , deck, transom and interior rib stringer system of Novurania’ s models shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the boat (subject to normal recommended usage and maintenance) for all 2017 and newer models, and for five (5) years for all 2016 and older models, from the date of original purchase; (b) all seams of the tubes and inflation valves used in the construction of the tube shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase; (c) Hypalon/Neoprene coated fabric of the tube shall be free from deterioration affecting serviceability (i.e. cracking, porosity, but not discoloration, fading or chaffing) for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase; (d) all handles, moorings, rings, seats, rails, cushions, floorboards, oars, etc. and all other Novurania attachments or Novurania accessories installed by Novurania factory personnel shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of original purchase. Any warranties from suppliers on component parts supersede this limited manufacturer’s warranty. The obligation of Novurania of America under this Limited Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, as Novurania of America may elect at its sole discretion, any parts that proves, in Novurania’ s sole judgment, to be defective in material or workmanship within the time periods specified herein. The judgment of Novurania’ s factory trained experts is final as to the extent of any liability. Purchaser shall be liable for all labor expenses and any related costs connected to repairing or replacing a warranted part.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.

This Limited Warranty shall not apply to: (a) any minor boat damage, including but not limited to, gel coat grazing, fading or blistering; (b) any damage to Novurania inflatable boats due to negligence, accident, misuse, alteration, improper operation, improper tailoring, collision, fire, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion, or objects striking boat, use of an outboard motor in excess of the maximum horsepower listed on the data plate fastened to the transom or improper maintenance or storage; (c) any damage resulting from towing a Novurania inflatable boat, or any damage resulting from lifting a Novurania inflatable boat, except when the lifting eyes attached to the inflatable boat are properly utilized in connection with a Novurania-approved lifting harness; (d) tubes exposed to harsh or corrosive chemicals; (e) parts installed by anyone other than Novurania factory personnel; (f) any damage caused by after-market parts; (g) Novurania inflatable boats purchased for commercial or governmental use*; (h) any work done on a Novurania inflatable boat at an unauthorized service station and/or without Novurania’s prior approval; and (i) labor, freight, delivery, storage or other similar charges. Sometimes equipment installed on Novurania inflatable boats (such as electronics) carry their own individual warranties provided by their respective manufacturers. In such cases, any warranty claims regarding those parts must be directed to those manufacturers and not Novurania. Any repair work undertaken by Novurania at the purchaser’s request but discovered to be excluded by this Limited Warranty for any of the foregoing reasons, will be fully charged to the owner. Moreover, for a fee, Novurania will repair any of its inflatable boats not covered under this Limited Warranty due to any of the foregoing.

Warranty for any Novurania inflatable boat purchased for commercial and/or governmental use is covered as follows: Novurania the Novurania inflatable boat that: (a) all seams of the tubes and inflation valves used in the construction of the tube shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years for all 2017 and newer models, and for one (1) year for all 2016 and older models, from the original date of purchase; (b) the Hypalon/Neoprene coated fabric of the tube shall be free from deterioration affecting serviceability (i.e. cracking, porosity, but not discoloration, fading or chaffing) for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase; (c) the fiberglass hull of Novurania’s models shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years; all handles, moorings, rings, seats, rails, cushions, floorboards, oars, etc. and all other Novurania attachments or Novurania accessories installed by Novurania factory personnel shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of original purchase.

Prior to any repair work being commenced on a Novurania inflatable boat, the warranty claim must be approved in writing by Novurania’ s corporate headquarters. In order to obtain warranty repair approval, the original owner must send written notification, along with a copy of the bill of sale, and photographs depicting the damage and/or defect sought to be repaired, to info@novurania.com. If Novurania finds that: the specific defect and/or damage is covered under this Limited Warranty, Novurania will advise the owner in writing where to send-via pre-paid freight- the boat or part(s)for repair or replacement. In many cases a local authorized service station may be utilized for repairs. In others, the boat or part(s) must be repaired by Novurania factory personnel only. Novurania does not assume any liability for any work performed on a Novurania inflatable boat at an unauthorized service station and/or without Novurania’ s prior approval.

Novurania does not authorize any person to create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with its inflatable boats. This limited warranty and Novurania’ s obligation hereunder is in lieu of all warranties express or implied, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Novurania shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from breach of this Limited Warranty, including without limitation, lost wages, loss of inflatable boat use, storage, payment for loss of time, inconvenience, boat rental expense, and state or local taxes required on warranty repairs.

Novurania reserves the right to alter models, change colors, specifications, materials, equipment, component parts, prices or cease production of certain models at any time without prior notice, and such changes, alterations, or cessation shall be made without Novurania incurring any obligations to equip or modify inflatable boats produced prior to the date of such changes or alterations. This Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any and all claims, disputes or other controversies connected to, arising out of or relating to this Limited Warranty, or the breach thereof, shall be decided by binding arbitration to take place in Indian River County, Florida, and to be administered by and in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages under certain circumstances.
